"When the practice of writing became a need, I sought a special place for a written landscape to be created. But, I found most journals stale, mass produced and boring. Nothing special at all. So, I started to make my own!
I have always been attracted to the natural elements. Leather was durable, tactile & full of vibrant colors & texture. Shells, turquoise, antler - mixed with a love for paper, I strived to create that canvas for myself and others for natural expression to play out! I hope you find it so…

Our mission is to create & provide an inviting, useful, handmade canvas for those who love the craft of expression - whatever the medium.
White Feather Leatherworks was established in 2000 by Andrea Lien, also an installation and mixed media artist. Her work has been exhibited in group shows nationwide over the last 8 years. She had her first solo show, “Sticks, Stones & Bones" in Los Angeles, June-July 2005.
After 15 plus years of tending to a beloved hobby, the books began to sell themselves…and a small company began.
